“Big Irish” Jay Hollingsworth has been a finalist in multiple comedy competitions including the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, The Shades of Laughs Comedy Competition, Mangers USA Comedy Festival and the Bend International Comedy Competition, and won first place in the March Comedy Madness Competition and The Best of Boston. He also has TV appearances on Laugh After Dark-Live in Las Vegas, Laugh Factory, Walk of Shame Shuttle and Laughs.

Hollingsworth has made his mark as a comic’s comic, with notable appearances on some of the country’s top podcasts such as About Last Night, Robert Kelly’s You Know What Dude, Greg Fitzsimmons’ Fitzdog Radio, and Doug Benson’s Doug Loves Movies. He also has his own podcast entitled The HollingsWorthless, where he brings his thoughts and tangents on comedy, movies, race, sports, and any other topics that enter his “Worthless” brain each week.

Jay is the creator and host of the hit live show True Story which features comedians presenting their stand-up, followed by an intense Q&A that examines which elements are true and what has been manipulated for comedic effect. The True Story show has been featured at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival as well as the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival.

The House typically opens 30 minutes before showtime. Seats are only guaranteed until showtime. Ticket price may be more expensive at the door (if any remain). All seating is based on size of party and when guests arrive at the show. We have cabaret style seating, so small tables with 4-5 chairs around them. If your group is smaller you may be sitting with another party. To ensure a whole table for your party only, you need to buy 4 tickets.  

There is a 2 Item (Food or Beverage) Minimum Per Person. This means each person must purchase 2 items off the menu. This can be an alcoholic, or non-alcoholic drink, or any of our food items. Food and Beverage service during the show ends approx. 15 minutes before the show ends.
